The Benefits of Dog Daycare

  • Reducing Boredom & Bad Behavior. Does your dog experience boredom or anxiety when you leave your home for the day? If your canine friend doesn’t have enough mentally stimulating activities to do while you’re away at work, it will lead to a number of bad behaviors such as chewing, pacing, barking, howling, digging, urinating, defecating, destroying household items, or trying to escape. A dog daycare will help to lessen these naughty and unwanted behaviors at home.
  • Developing Social Skills. Dog daycare exists to help provide a safe, wide open, and fun place for pups to develop their social skills. Intermingling with other dogs allows them to learn proper behaviors that help them meet and interact with others in a polite and respectful manner. Your canine friend will learn how to play and interact with other dogs in a clean and safe environment!
  • Encouraging Exercise. Moms and Dads can drop off their dogs and let them run around and play with friends all day long. Dogs get lots of exercise at TailWaggers Doggy Daycare®! This way at the end of a long work day, both parents and pooches are pooped out and ready for dinner and snuggle time. After a day of daycare Mom & Dad don’t have to worry about getting in that walk (which is especially nice on those days that are too hot, too cold, or just too busy). Constantly Supervised Playtime

At TailWaggers Doggy Daycare®, we provide constantly supervised playtime. Your pup will enjoy the benefits of:

  • A fun, safe, and clean environment in which to play and socialize with other dogs during the day*!
  • Socializing with other dogs of their size and temperament all day.
  • Getting lots of attention from our Pack Leaders. In addition to playing with the pack and giving our four-legged friends a plethora of hugs and pets, Pack Leaders are constantly on-site to ensure that everybody is playing nicely and that the play areas in the dog daycare are clean and safe.

No Scheduled Naptime

At TailWaggers Doggy Daycare® there is no scheduled naptime. Dogs are allowed to run and play as they please. Many pups will pull over and take a break to re-energize for more playtime, but some have so much energy that they keep going all day long.

Private Naptime Suite Available Upon Request

(At a parent’s request, naptime in a private suite can be arranged.) TailWaggers Doggy Daycare’s® goal is to allow each and every dog the opportunity to get as much exercise and socialization as possible so they are content and tired out by the end of the day – just like their moms and dads!

How Do I Know If My Dog Likes Daycare?

  • They perk up when you mention going to dog day care. Does your dog seem excited and wag their tail when you mention going to daycare? This is a sure sign that they are looking forward to the experience again.
  • They appear to be calm or excited when entering the facility. When you drop off your dog at our daycare, if they seem calm or enthusiastic about being there, it’s a sure sign they always enjoy their stay!
  • They respond well to interacting with staff at their dog daycare. Does your canine friend seem happy to meet the Pack Leaders at your local TailWaggers Doggy Daycare? If so, then it’s a positive experience for them!
  • When they get home, they seem tired but happy. This means that your dog got plenty of exercise and playtime with their other canine friends!
  • At the end of the day, they seem calm and relaxed. In the evening after you’ve brought them home, if they appear to be calm or relaxed, it’s a good sign that they aren’t stressed and they had fun.

Temperature Controlled Environment

At TailWaggers Doggy Daycare®, we have a temperature controlled environment to ensure that all canines are feeling comfortable no matter what time of the year it is.

Indoor & Outdoor Play Areas Available!

Our indoor play areas in our dog daycare are heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer so that your pup can play in a comfortable environment no matter what Mother Nature has planned for the day. On nice days, the doors to the outdoor play areas are left open so dogs can run around indoors, spend the day outside, or a little of both – whatever they enjoy most!

Dog Daycare Webcams Available!

Don’t forget to log on and watch your pup play at TailWaggers Doggy Daycare®! Live-feed webcams allow parents to go online, check on their family member and watch them play with their friends while at daycare**. What peace of mind…and how fun!

*Every dog must pass an evaluation before being allowed to play at TailWaggers Doggy Daycare®. Additionally, each dog over 7 months of age must be spayed or neutered. All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper, & Bordatella. (Puppies between 8 and 16 weeks of age are allowed to play at TailWaggers Doggy Daycare® without the Rabies vaccination.)
